Sablé Breton with Salted Caramel

Indulge in the perfect French treat – crisp, buttery Sablé Breton, crowned with a luscious layer of salted caramel. A heavenly balance of rich shortbread and sweet-salty caramel in every bite!
Serves : 4-6 people
Ingredients :
- 4 egg yolks
- 170 g sugar
- 200 g softened butter
- 135 g flour
- 8 g baking powder
- 4 g salt
Method :
- Preheat the oven to 170°C (330°F).
- Whisk the egg yolks and sugar until pale, then add the butter and mix well.
- Add the sifted flour, salt, and baking powder and mix well.
- Pipe into small circles or silicone moulds to a height of 1 cm.
- Bake for 15 to 18 minutes.
- Serve the shortbread with our salted butter caramel.
